IMPORTANT NOTICE
Due to declining attendance, we cannot afford for our church to rent facilities in Millbrae.
Our last public worship service was held on
Sunday, October 4.
However, our other ministries will continue, such as:
* "The Disciples' Cross" - a seven week study on what it means to take up our cross and follow Jesus. This is the first of a four part MasterLife series, which we may continue in the coming year.
* Missionary support - for as long as possible, we will continue to support other ministries.
* Operation Christmas Child - a ministry of Samaritan's Purse to bring the joy of Christmas to children in impoverished and war-stricken areas throughout the world. Last year, they distributed over 7 million shoeboxes of gifts to these needy children!
* Pastoral support - Pastor Bruce remains available to the church and to the community to support them in any way he can.
We do not know what the Lord has in store for us for the future, but we know that He is good, that He is faithful to His promises, and that He will be glorified through whatever happens.
We at Cumberland Peninsula Community Church praise God for using and guiding us through the past nine years. We have been on quite a journey - full of surprises, challenges, joys, and even heartaches. In short, we have been truly blessed.
Finally, God blessed us with wonderful brothers and sisters in Christ to walk with us every step of the way and to kneel beside us in prayer. We are hosting a luncheon reception to thank our prayer partners and supporters and to celebrate God's graciousness and faithfulness over the last nine years. It will be held at the church from 11:30am to 2:00pm on Saturday, October 31.

Ministries
We currently have a study that meets on Friday nights. We are going through "The Disciple's Cross," which examines what it means to take up our cross and follow Jesus.
